Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Surgical Scheduling Supervisor primarily oversees, provides leadership, and training for all surgical coordination duties. The Surgical Scheduling Supervisor has oversight over junior counterparts. The Surgical Scheduling Supervisor serves as a resource for the entire department. With the guidance of the Clinic Manager, the Surgical Scheduling Supervisor initiates and participates in improvement efforts which directly impact the practice. Other related duties as assigned.
Seven (7) years of related experience in Surgery Scheduling, education/training OR A Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area plus three (3+) or more years of related experience/training.
One (1+) or more years as a lead or with direct leadership experience.
Proficient knowledge of computer programs to include Excel, PowerPoint, Graphs, and Word, etc.
Possess the skills and extensive knowledge of practices in Ambulatory setting, administrative lead and front office administration.
Experience providing financial oversight. Proven ability to serve as point of contact and work collaboratively as a team member/leader.
Customer/patient experience required.
- Bilingual Spanish.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
