Under the general direction of the Senior Director, Alumni Engagement Strategy and with dotted line reporting to the Executive Director, Prospect Development (ED-PD) on the Advancement Operations and Campaign unit, the Senior Data and Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing analytical, consulting and reporting support to fundraising, career services, and engagement operations as well as strategically coordinating, analyzing, and managing business process and information technology related projects and initiatives for ACAGPDI.

The position is responsible for the successful implementation of a business intelligence needs assessment and tool(s) delivery, including project team management, issues management, long-term resource planning acting as a liaison to technical staff, vendors and campus leadership, and ensuring that the implemented solution meets business user requirements and delivers the necessary business outcomes.

The position will work in a consultative manner to understand the future business needs of ACAGPDI, providing analytical, consulting and reporting support to fundraising, career services, and engagement operations as well as recommending new technologies and business processes, and delivering solutions that drive the desired outcomes.

Establishes systems solutions that assist with the delivery of professional development and engagement programs with a key focus on increasing professional preparedness of students and ongoing career advancement of alumni. Ensures that systems tools are integrated throughout constituent engagement efforts and that they work synergistically with current tools and web properties.

  • In-depth knowledge of business intelligence functions, advanced analytics, industry standards and best practices.

  • Strong ability to analyze information, situations, problems, policies and procedures; separate problems from symptoms; identify potential solutions; apply solutions and formulate logical and objective conclusions from data and observations; communicate conclusions to a variety of personnel at various levels.

  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to produce and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.

  • Effective interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with managers, professional and technical staff.

  • Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with design and development of training programs and materials for business process and specific information systems applications. Ability to coordinate, schedule and deliver training content utilizing different media types. Ability to adapt the training needs of others at various learning levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess procedures and define requirements for technical systems that streamline business process and result in productivity improvement.

  • Proven ability to organize workload and manage priorities; manage multiple projects simultaneously; be flexible to respond in stressful situations and unexpected job demands with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision.
