Incumbent is responsible for serving as a liaison between multiple financial institutions, UCOP and UC San Diego campus departments to ensure the ultimate payment product offerings meet all parties' needs. Interprets UC policy, analyzes complex data, performs multiple account reconciliations and ensures compliance with accounting policies and banking regulations.
This position uses skills as a seasoned, experienced financial service professional with a full understanding of industry practices and organizational policies and procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Oversees projects associated with treasury activities, develops metrics, and develops documentation including business requirements and communications. Participates in the IPPS Leadership Forum.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
A Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.
Solid knowledge and understanding of payment technology applications from system requirements to deployment.
Strong ability to identify measure, manage, monitor, review, and report on risks, provide recommendations and implement solutions to address risks and segregation of duties as needed.
Proven experience in personnel management / supervision and organizational administration to include performance management and goal setting.
Demonstrated skill training individuals and groups using the most current adult learner training techniques and theories.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (i.e., Salesforce).
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an allied field, and six (6) years professional experience in an operations role with similar functions relating to payment product administration, banking services industry, technical administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
