This is a two (2) year 100% Contract position. This appointment may be extended or converted to career status based on the needs and funding of the department.
Serving as the Financial Services Analyst within Student Financial Solutions(SFS) -----a multi-divisional unit of Business and Financial Services (BFS). SFS serves as the central point of contact for student inquiries related to billing, payments, refunds, scholarships, campus ID card, loans, student accounts, and general information related to division process partners such as Financial Aid, Housing, and Registrar. This position will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Associate Director in the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all aspects of Student Accounts and Billing Services. This unit manages the centralized billing and collection services, scholarship payments, third party accounts, electronic payments, and financial aid and overpayment refunds for students, campus departments, and other clients.
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced financial service professional with a full understanding of industry practices and organizational policies and procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Thorough knowledge of financial processes, data management and reporting systems.
Leadership skills and experience providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to professional and support staff.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio).
Strong proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
Familiar with audit, control and accountability methodologies. Thorough understanding of the auditing process (internal and external) and how to effectively lead the Division through audits.
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, with ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
Two (2) year full-time contract position to include benefits eligibility with the possibility of extension based on the needs of the department and funding availability

Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $53,600 - $111,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $25.67 - $53.45
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
