New long-term, fully-remote opportunity available through UC San Diego’s Temporary Employment Services. This position will assist with course and section programming and scheduling. Responsible for translating course materials, course overviews, and course descriptions from English to Spanish. Will create and translate user manuals for both instructors and students to assist with course enrollment, instructor accounts, and instructor programs (i.e. Canvas, Payment Compass).

Additionally, this position will be responsible for posting updates and announcements on social media and for providing general administrative support as needed.

Anticipated Duration: 6 months

Compensation: $23.50 - $25.50 / hour, including paid holidays and vacation/sick leave. Full-medical insurance also available.

Location: this position will be fully remote

Work schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 - 5:00


  • Fluency in Spanish (speaking/reading/writing).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent knowledge of English/Spanish grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Strong presentation skills and good analytical skills are required to develop and deliver course material and training in both English and Spanish.

  • Preferred experience in implementing, coordinating, and administering new and existing programs and courses in a continuing education environment.

  • Preferred working knowledge of delivering public educational programs.
