Under general supervision, Prenatal Coordinator provides educational instruction to prenatal patients both in English and Spanish. Coordinates the California Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) at the outlying contracted clinic. Performs intake assessments and reassessments, intervention, case management, and chart EPIC loading for all CWHP locations.
This position will require working at various locations to include contracted site: SDFC, Mid-City Community Clinic and Convoy/MOS/VLJ WHS .
Associates degree in business, healthcare administration or related area, and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
Two (2+) or more years of Experience in OBGYN working with/providing health education to the prenatal population.
Experience as a Comprehensive Perinatal Health Worker (CPHW).
Experience and proven success in working knowledge of departmental and organization policies and procedures; knowledge of educational program content and objectives.
- Continuing education in related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
