Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. The duties includesand are not limited to maintaining excellent customer service standards; issuing ticket receipts after inspecting anddocumenting any prior vehicle damage; retrieving vehicles in a timely manner; collecting and securing cash and issuereceipts; writing down vehicle information and location on valet ticket; tagging and maintaining keys; and performingother duties as assigned. Performs additional duties:
- Ensures that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff.
- Ensures that visitor issues are resolved to meet the service expectations of UC San Diego Health.
Must have a valid CA driver's license and acceptabledriving record.
Relevant experience required.
Skills, knowledge, and ability essential tothe successful performance of the dutiesassigned to the position.
Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Strong customer service skills.
- Must be willing to work various times and locations basedon business needs.
- Must pass a pre-employmentbackground check, drug test, and driving test.
Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral).
If applicable, life-support certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, etc.) must include hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment; online-only certification is not acceptable.
