DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Sr Director, Organizational Performance Assessments, the Tritonlytics Program Director provides hands-on leadership, management, and coordination of the deployment of internal and external large-scale campus-wide surveys. This position uses advanced statistical analytical skills to translate data into a reporting format for existing and new surveys. This complex data and its translation is used to aid instrategic planning/continuous improvement projects and the dissemination of information on business processes. This position also conducts modeling of surveys and other quantitative data to provide recommendations that impact students, staff, and faculty. Incumbentcreates customized analytics reports for clients by creating succinct information in both table and graphic formats to be used for audiences in both academic and administrative backgrounds. The primary tools used on a daily basis are Tableau, SPSS, Access, Powerpoint, andExcel.
The incumbent has a strong background in data science, survey methodology, and social science research. Will apply advanced business process and analysis concepts to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position leads in analyzing campus data related to a wide range of issues relevant to policy-making and program planning. Analyzes and provides consultation and recommendations on various types of data including highly sensitive HR activities, EDI,financial data, and workload trending and modeling. This incumbent will be responsible for designing dynamic presentations using Powerpoint, Canva, and Tableau to present survey or analytical results to VCs, managers, and leaders. This position also providesconsultation to staff and constituents on research design, statistical analysis, survey results interpretations, and strategic planning. The Tritonlytics Program Director leads and facilitates action planning sessions to drive accountability for progress in climate and customer service.
This position speaks on behalf of the Tritonlytics program both internally and externally, presents to high-level campus leaders and clientele, presents at national conferences, and contributes to the higher education literature on organizational performance and strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in statistics, organizational assessment, and research or related area and/or equivalent experience / training. Advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years experience and advanced level of expertise in statistical software tools, such as SPSS, SAS, or equivalent applications for metrics collection and analysis. Advanced knowledge of: descriptive statistics, difference of Means, nonparametric tests, and analysis of variances (ANOVA).
Minimum of five (5) years experience and expertise in using Tableau software. Advanced knowledge of building worksheets, connecting server data with the application. Knowledge of using program language to build visuals. Experiences in using statistical methods to analyze Tableau data.
Ability to coach, facilitate and influence people at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively with persons and groups of employees in order to bring together their ideas, adapt to their needs, and to encourage them. Good team participation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and openly, assume various team roles, promote consensus-building, accept the role of team member as equally important to one's individual's accomplishments.
Applies strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills. Proven demonstrated ability to make oral group presentations that are well organized, clear and understandable, informative and persuasive.
Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision. Demonstrated skills to organize workload priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to be flexible to respond to unexpected job demands and changes in priorities.
Proven demonstrated ability to be creative, (take ideas, concepts, solutions normally not directly associated with the problem at hand), and change and adapt them to provide innovative solutions to operational and management problems
Interpret and communicate - Need to understand the meaning of statistical scores and be able to communicate and explain technical matters to persons without statistical expertise. A background in social sciences is necessary to understand the dynamics of group categorization and interaction. Be able to interpret quantitative data to the audience in easy-to-understand terms.
Highly skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building.
Demonstrated skills in designing and deploying Qualtrics surveys, as well as analyzing and raw translating the data into a presentable format for Senior Leadership.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $78,900 - $179,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $37.79 - $86.16
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
