Incumbent services as Travel and Expense (T&E) Senior Analyst within Disbursements & Travel - a unit of Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS) housed within Business and Financial Services (BFS). This position is responsible for financial services analyses as they relate to the T&E program such as Moves and Relocations as well as invoicing and ledger activities. Provides financial analyses and audits with regard to ledger and sub-ledger transactions and provides guidance to team members. This position trains internal staff, campus clients, and other stakeholders in the most complex aspects of the travel, entertainment and expense processes and associated UC and local policy as well as external requirements.

Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures. Proven experience and skill to audit financial data, format special financial reports and communicate information using complex data, rules, regulations and resource materials. Ability to analyze complex fiscal issues and information, recognize potential impact, identify alternative solutions, and make recommendations to staff, management and business units.
Proven knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems. Demonstrated experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting. Working knowledge of Oracle Financial Cloud.
Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software. Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications to include: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Effective interpersonal, analytical, and effective verbal and written communication skills,
Strong leadership skills to provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to professional and support staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and four (4) years professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
