Position available through UCSD Temporary Employment Services (TES). Employment through TES is an excellent way to gain valuable UCSD experience and get your foot in the door for career positions. TES employment includes medical coverage, paid vacation & sick time, paid holidays, as well as training and development opportunities!


Under supervision, incumbent will drive a UC San Diego vehicle to transport covid positive student transport to isolation housing. Driver will safely operate the vehicle and maintain vehicle records including trip documentation.


  • A valid Ca Department of Motor Vehicle Driver’s License for non-CDL vehicle to be operated and current Driver’s record.

  • Demonstrated safe driving skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.


  • Must have a valid Ca driver’s license and safe driving record.

  • DMV check and clearance required prior to employment. Subject to DMV Pull Notice Program.

  • DOJ/FBI background check and clearances required prior to employment.

  • Mask Fitting required fole. Provided by the University.

Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral).
