UCSD is one of eight sites within the NASH CRN, which focuses on the etiology, contributing factors, natural history, complications, and therapy of MASH and MASLD. It is one of 10 sites within the LCN, which focuses on identifying risk factors underlying disease progression in liver cirrhosis and identifying effective therapeutic interventions for patients with cirrhosis.
