This position requires giving chemotherapy, biotherapy, clinical trials infusion and other infusion related services as well as blood work, dressing change, injections in a fast paced outpatient infusion center setting. This position also requires caring for post Bone Marrow Transplant patients. This position will be trained to give clinical trials infusion. This position requires the ability to respond and handle urgent medical emergencies.
Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge. The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.

Current California RN license.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification with recent experience (in the last 6 months).
Oncology background with recent infusion center experience or recent acute care Oncology, ED, or ICU experience.
More than six (6) months of active RN experience is required.
Recent infusion center experience.
Clinical Trials Infusion experience.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 6 shifts (10 hours) in a 4-week schedule, with 1 late shift and 1 weekend shift.
- Must be able to float to all other Infusion Clinics if needed.
Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral).
If applicable, life-support certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, etc.) must include hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment; online-only certification is not acceptable.
