POSITION OVERVIEW
Provide critical administrative support for the Real Estate unit to include Asset Management, P3, Leasing and Finance areas. Serve in administrative support capacity in providing a myriad of daily administrative tasks, assisting with a variety of office operational needs. Serve as back-up support to Executive Assistant in coordination of unit administrative functions. Provide front desk reception coverage as needed. Utilize various campus platforms to assist in processing financial reimbursements, placing orders and travel related requests. Complete special projects as assigned.
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Department Overview: Real Estate (RE) provides real estate services for the UC San Diego campus multi-million dollar portfolio of University owned and leased property, public/private partnerships, property acquisition and disposition, and off-campus leasing. RE is a comprehensive real estate organization whose objectives are to complete real estate transactions on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of its clients and as a fiduciary for The Regents. The office comprises functional units that include leasing as landlord and as tenant, licenses, fiscal management and administrative services, property acquisitions and dispositions, public-private partnership development and asset management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience planning/scheduling meetings and events efficiently and accurately.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
Experience using standard office machines including photocopiers and document scanners.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, spelling, writing, proofreading, editing, punctuation and usage. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate clearly with others. Ability to resolve conflicts while maintaining a professional relationship.
Ability to independently set priorities and accomplish tasks in an environment with frequent interruptions and changes of complex administrative activities by determining the time, place and sequence of actions to be taken in order to meet established deadlines.
Proven ability to be a team player.
Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Effective interpersonal skills to interact with diverse individuals and groups. Understanding of the diversity and inclusivity goals of the Department and Campus with the skills and abilities to contribute toward meeting and exceeding those goals.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $33,900 - $66,962 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $16.24 - $32.07
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
