DESCRIPTION

The University of California San Diego (UCSD), Department of Pediatrics and Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego (RCHSD) is seeking board-certified/eligible pediatricians/family medicine providers to join the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine for a posted employment opportunity in Murrieta, California. The candidate will provide care to pediatric urgent care and emergency care to pediatric patients within a community ED.

RCHSD faculty staffs pediatric encounters (<18 years age) at the Rancho Springs Emergency Department in Murrieta, California. The candidate will join our team of Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained faculty who provide 24-hour coverage / 7 days per week in the Emergency Department. We are seeking a Pediatric or Family Medicine physician as a second provider coverage during higher volume hours.

The position offered can be any amount of FTE (full-time equivalent) equal to or above 0.5 FTE as desired by the candidate. Complete benefits package available. Full-time position is 34-hours per week, working 9-hour PM shifts.

Candidates must have an MD or DO or equivalent and must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Family Medicine. Candidates must also have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Candidates must also have a current DEA license. Payment for relocation expenses will be considered.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates must have an MD or DO or equivalent and must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics.

  • Candidates must also have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.

  • Candidates must also have a current DEA license. Payment for relocation expenses will be considered.
