As compliance coordinator, incumbent will run a variety of reports in IFSO’s system International Student and Scholar Management system ("ISSM"), access databases, and web-based forms to meet reporting/compliance requirements mandated by the U.S. Depts. of State, Homeland Security, and Labor, for UC San Diego’s exchange visitor program and/or employment-based cases (H-1B, E-3, etc.).

As scholar/departmental advisor, incumbent will work with departmental administrators and scholars to facilitate and advise on the online submission requests and will determine eligibility for immigration benefits in compliance with federal regulations governing the J-1 and/or employment-based categories.
