New temporary position available as interim Assistant Director of Residence Life. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of student staff, supporting the residential community with mediations and resource sharing, and administrative tasks (facilitating conduct meetings, supporting student staff programs, working at the front desk, and helping with campus-related projects). Additionally, will attend and facilitate weekly Residence Life meetings Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM.
Anticipated Duration: 2 months
Compensation: Pay: $22.99 - $25.38 / hour, including paid holidays and vacation/sick leave. Medical insurance also available.
Location: this position will have a hybrid work schedule (4 days per week on-site required at La Jolla campus and 1 day remote).
Work schedule: Mon - Fri; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
* Master's degree in college student personnel, higher education, counseling, psychology, or related field is preferred.
* Experience working with diverse populations.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $43,900 - $91,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $21.02 - $44.01
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
