Under direction, coordinates and schedules appointments, screens patients for immunity requirements. Secures patient account by obtaining authorization from employers and WC insurance companies prior to patient appointments. Provides back-up as needed. Enters patient data into proprietary computer system. Serves as a resource for patients, clinicians andstaff. Inventories and maintains supplies, forms and equipment. Ensures patients/clinic meets medical clearance guidelines for employment and research studies. May perform other related duties as assigned.
Three (3) years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication skills required.
Strong customer service skills in person and telephone services.
Proficient in the use of word processing, database, spreadsheet, email and web-based software.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
EPIC experience preferred.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral).
If applicable, life-support certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, etc.) must include hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment; online-only certification is not acceptable.
