This position is based 100% Onsite. Not a remote position.

DESCRIPTION

This position involves third-party reimbursement reporting requirements and contractual allowances monitoring. Includes the provision of annual Medicare, Medi-Cal, and state disclosure cost reports, monitors reimbursement regulation changes and estimates the effect on the medical center's financial position. You will function independently with full understanding of healthcare reimbursement to execute the revenue cycle workflow. Completes complex projects and tasks at all levels of scope and complexity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training i.e. government cost reporting, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training i.e. government cost reporting.

  • Knowledge of charge review, charge reconciliation, and charge router error correction concepts to perform revenue capturing functions efficiently and effectively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medi-Care and Medi-Cal Cost Reporting experience.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
