Professional that can support Clinical Technology pre-acquistion surveys all the way through to equipment disposal. Supports technical projects for deployment/upgrades of clinical systems used in patient care. These projects require the proper scoping for both technical and clincal workflows. Manages the project's framework processes and methodologies involving departmental cross-functional teams. Plans, coordinates and monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff and deliverables. Monitors project / purchase from initiation through completion. Organizes and supports activities relating to the management and completion of equipment acquistion projects.
Technical person with a high degree of knowledge in the overall healthcare field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent or structure. Able to understand how new technology can be acquired and connected with legacy systems. May support programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy.
Six (6) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training.
Experience and proven success in skills necessary to evaluate the quality and cost effectiveness of purchasing options.
