We are a small team dedicated to providing an excellent Epic training experience for our front-line clinicians. We pride ourselves in taking ownership of our work, supporting each other every step of the way, and providing outstanding customer service. We work hard but we also love to have fun, celebrate each other, and build strong relationships.
In addition to providing Epic training for new hires, the Epic Principle Trainer is responsible for designing and maintaining curriculum for the assigned area(s). The Epic Principle Trainer also performs site visits in hospital and clinical areas, shadowing end users for workflow assessments and training effectiveness. The role provides in-person, at-the-elbow support during Go Lives and requires regular onsite presence in San Diego.
EpicCare Ambulatory Certification
Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training in EMR healthcare training experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training in EMR healthcare training.
Experience with and thorough knowledge of health care information systems support within a large-scale healthcare organization.
