Under direction, incumbent supports the provision of cardiac electrocardiography diagnostic services, and provides oversight of daily operations across multiple hospital and clinic sites. Incumbent focus is on assisting Noninvasive Cardiovascular Manager with day to day operational oversight, personnel issues consisting of hiring, evaluating, scheduling, coaching and performing corrective action, performance improvement, quality assurance, and ensuring resources are available.
Responsibilities include serving as lead for ECG technicians, exercise physiologists & administrative staff, providing direction, education and program development. Oversight includes technical team performing electrocardiography services including stress testing, ambulatory Holter and blood pressure monitoring, event monitors and electrocardiograms (ECG) as well as the administration/call center team. General oversight over ECG and Holter monitor management systems including maintaining a comprehensive list of units transmitting and interacting with these systems. Identify and collaborate with assigned resources in ambulatory clinics and inpatient units owning carts that connect to ECG management system.
Manage the daily operations of the lab including approval of same day add-ons and future overbooking of the schedule. Incumbent will coordinate daily workflow and staff assignments for consistent operations and will assist with department performance improvement activities including regulatory compliance.
Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
Certification in relevant function is required.
A minimum of five (5+) or more years of relevant experience.
Experience and proven success in relevant cardiovascular services. Ability to apply principles to procedures in an acute care setting.
- Experience within Electrocardiology.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

- Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
