Primary responsibility is to provide assistance with data management and curation. Specific responsibilities include 1) assist with day to day coordination of data ingestion; 2) supervise, train and hire student data employee team; and 3) the management and curation of data being federated. Will also be responsible for assisting with composing of correspondence and data reports, assistance with manuscripts and reports to funding agencies, assisting with assessment of data integrity by running validation checks, and cleaning data as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Four (4) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area.
Understanding of data management operations and database administration, including data modeling, data definition, data conversion and management of content or unstructured information.
Thorough knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Excellent problem-solving skills. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated service orientation skills.
Proven analytical and design skills, including the ability to abstract information requirements from real-world processes to understand information flows in computer systems.
Ability to represent relevant information in abstract models. Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with research data and databases.
- Experience with data entry.
- Experience with REDCap.
