The dialysis machine and equipment technician II is an employee who is skilled and trained to perform repair and maintenance of machines and equipment used in dialysis programs. Responsible for monitoring the operation and servicing of dialysis equipment and systems under the supervision of the Biomedical Technical Manager. Provides technical support for the acute and chronic dialysis programs, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all dialysis related equipment and assure adequate stocking for dialysis programs at all locations: Hillcrest & Thornton. Orders supplies using the Pro-Click program.
Must have either completed a formal dialysis equipment training program or have had three (3) or more years experience with dialysis equipment.
Must be certified from Dialysis Equipment Manufacturers training.
- Certified in maintenance and troubleshooting of Fresenius T dialysis machine.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Job offer is contingent on successful engagement in the UC COVID-19 Vaccination program (fully vaccinated with documented proof or approved exception/deferral).
