Under supervision, the Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for assisting with the day to day implementation and communication of Lifesharing's Quality Plan. Duties include daily review of Donor Log to obtain up to date chart information. Close monitoring of tissue donor Serology results (review, reporting and filing to appropriate parties). Performs Quality Control review of tissue donor charts, to assure compliance with AATB, FDA and tissue processor guidelines. Responsible for following up with appropriate tissue processors to investigate and provide needed medical information to complete donor charts for tissue release. Ensures that tissue donor charts are scanned and appropriately uploaded to the online charting systems so that proper paperless procedures and guidelines are followed.

Assists with all regulatory audit preparations. Follows strict FDA and AATB guidelines on information sharing notification for tissue recalls, and Adverse Events when informed by processors or regulatory agencies. Coordinates with County Medical Examiner Staff, to obtain autopsies and Certificates of Death. Assists the Accounting department at Lifesharing in the reconciliation of outstanding donor charts. Participates in Lifesharing's outreach/community events and assist in training new employees. Incumbent requires professional interpersonal/written communication skills with demonstrated initiative and independence. Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Six (6) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training.

  • Working knowledge of business intelligence functions and analytics.

  • Working knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools.

  • Ability to produce reports and documentation.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-resolution skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.

  • Ability to train staff at a variety of technical skill levels.

  • Medical terminology training or certificate.

  • Basic quality training/experience.

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).


  • Organ/tissue donation experience.


  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
