Incumbent serves as an Accounts Payable Administrator in Disbursements and Travel ----a unit of Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS) housed within Business & Financial Services (BFS). This position provides front-line customer relations, cross-functional support and is responsible for the accurate independent analysis, evaluation and approval of supplier invoices for payment. Incumbent uses a variety of processing applications and a customer relationship management platform to provide rotational support across multiple sections as assigned.

Knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures. Ability to research policies and procedures, experience processing payment request documents and dealing with customers.
Knowledge of California State Board of Equalization Sales and Use Tax Regulations.
General knowledge of invoicing, key entry, check generation and proven knowledge of automated accounts payable systems
Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications to include: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
Bachelor's degree with a major in business administration or a similar field and 4 years’ experience in a professional working environment with similar functions relating to customer support and invoice processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of automated accounting applications, fund accounting and basic accounting principles, policies and procedures.
