Involves the administrative services and operations for COVID testing locations, in accordance with federal, local, and internal standards, policies, and regulations. Typically includes operations, fiscal management, program planning, and/or external marketing activities. Management will include oversight of clinical patient care.
The supervisor will oversee COVID operations staff involved in routine functions. Oversight of administrative areas such as registration, new patient coordination, scheduling, medical records storage and maintenance, facilities, insurance authorizations, and clinical support staff such as medical assistants and other licensed personnel.
The supervisor will be responsible for scheduling staff in the coordination of daily operations and activities of operations. Implements changes or new procedures to improve operational efficiencies. Ensures work is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Proposes changes or new procedures to improve operational efficiencies.
Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
A minimum of three (3+) or more years of relevant experience.
Experience and proven success in skills to supervise support staff in clinic/center administration, and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in an outpatient clinic registering, scheduling or providing financial counseling to patients and families.
- Experience working in COVID Testing locations.
- Experience leading or participating in clinic teams to improve patient experience, clinic flow, or overall clinic performance.
- Experience working with patients in an outpatient setting.
- Direct team lead or supervisory experience in an outpatient setting.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
