DESCRIPTION

Involves providing administrative oversight for the Senior Executive for the Neurological Institute, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Services, and Radiology. This position includes the coordination of communications and pertinent data among a group of the executive's subordinate management staff. Performs and/or oversees special projects or assignments that are highly sensitive or complex in nature, requiring a high level of independence and initiative in execution and implementation. Handles details and oversees work of a highly confidential and critical nature to support the executive on matters of significance. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area; or equivalent combination of experience/training.

  • A minimum of three (3+) or more years of relevant Executive level administrative experience.

  • Professional level experience providing complex administrative support to a high-level executive.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure/formats, demonstrated skill in composing correspondence.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including diplomacy, tact, and flexibility.

  • Proven ability to interact with all organizational levels and to communicate effectively and professionally both in person and via phone.

  • Ability to present a positive impression in person, on the telephone and through e-mail communication.

  • Experience with expense tracking, procurement, reimbursements, and travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Healthcare experience.
  • Complex scheduling/calendaring for multiple executives.
  • Event Planning.
  • Meeting facilitation.
  • Authorship of comprehensive documents/advanced writing.
  • Process Improvement training - yellow belt equivalent.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical including immunization and drug screening.
