Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the CSW2 or CSW3 level. Less than two (2) years experience qualifies as CSW level; Three (3) years + LCSW experience qualifies as CSW3.

The Owen Clinic is an HIV Clinic that is culturally, LGBT diverse and located in the heart of Hillcrest. At Owen we provide a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology and a renowned research program.
Under general supervision, and in addition to performing the full range of operational level duties, the Clinical Social Worker III is responsible for administering licensed social service program or relevant work. Provides licensed social work services consisting of continuing care services and clinical social work services, including crisis intervention, mandated reporting, information and referral, coordination of health and mental health services with community providers. The social worker is responsible for education and advocacy of patients, families and/or significant others. Participates in related department functions, such as community and program education.
A Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work and possession of the requirements necessary for application for licensure as a clinical social worker as determined by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
Must possess the knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Minimum of two to three (2 - 3) years post MSW experience.

- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
