This position will support Community Care Primary Care Clinic located in Vista. This site will include Primary Care, department staffed with mostly internal medicine physicians and nurse practitioners.
Under the direction of the UC San Diego Health Physician Group leadership, the Practice Manager oversees a large, fast-paced Primary Care clinic, and has broad and independent responsibilities for planning, developing and managing administrative and programmatic operations as well as full fiscal oversight to include revenue management of enhancement, authorization procedures, provider RVU production and session productivity to maximize efficiencies and economies of scales. Serves in conjunction with site medical directors and operational leaders, coordinating agenda and outcomes. Works autonomously, independently managing all aspects of clinic functions.
Analyzes all areas of clinic operations, conducts all aspects of personnel management to include recruitment, performance management, training, compensation oversight, and labor relations issues. Coordinates, manages and presents expansions plans, working in conjunction with clinical and operational leaders. Oversees all compliance and licensing requirements and CQI projects throughout the department. Assures accurate timekeeping and payroll for all departmental employees. Incumbent will work with independence in applying clinical and business judgment, management concepts and provide counseling to all site clinic faculty, operations manager and staff on daily operational issues.

Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
A minimum of five (5+) or more years of relevant experience.
- A Master's Degree or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience in a large Outpatient, Multi-Specialty or Women’s Health clinic environment
- Lean Six Sigma certificate, Green Belt preferred
- Advanced computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with budget management, creating and executing executive-level presentations, advanced project management experience, experience leading clinic expansions and multi-functional teams
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
